This MindForge course does not qualify for insurance CE credit in any state. Its function is to provide one year of renewal credit to maintain your CRIS certification. If you need insurance CE credit, please take a renewal course (or a core course for another IRMI certification) in the IRMI Learning Center.
This renewal is intentionally beginner-level and built for insurance professionals (brokers, underwriters, claims) who need practical context—not advanced site-safety training. If you have 10+ years in construction safety or hold credentials like CSP/CHST, you may find the material too fundamental.

The MindForge Body Mechanics Just In Time course aims to teach workers body mechanic techniques that will help prevent soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries.
The MindForge Boom Lifts course prepares workers operating boom lifts for the many potentially hazardous situations that they may encounter on the jobsite. Starting with a brief introduction/scenario, workers taking this course come face to face with the many common and easily avoidable hazards present on a jobsite, followed by solutions that can be used to keep themselves and others safe.
The MindForge "Just In Time" training on Caught-Between incidences is a shorter lecture simulation course focused on the many caught-between hazards present on the jobsite. The lecture is broken into three different scenarios: crowded jobsites and tight spaces and then motorized tools and trenches. This MindForge "Just in Time'' training aims to be a quick and informative way to educate your workers on preventing caught between incidents.
Falls are the leading cause of death in the construction industry. In fact, fall-related incidents make up almost one-third of all construction fatalities. That is why this MindForge course on guardrails aims to provide information on the proper planning, training, and equipment to help you mitigate these hazards on the jobsite.
The MindForge course on using stilts aims to educate workers on the many advantages of using drywall stilts when performing specific job site tasks. This course begins with a series of animated videos that highlight the benefits and conveniences that stilts provide on the job site while also providing best practices that aim to keep you safe while using stilts. The course then presents two interactive simulators that allow you to put what you’ve just learned into practice.
This course is designed to help construction workers learn the hazards associated with electricity, help them to identify common construction electrical hazards, and learn proper control measures to protect themselves and others.
At the end of the course, workers explore an interactive mini-game, where they piece together the events leading up to an accident caused by an electrical hazard.
OSHA records over 42,000 falling object incidents each year. That's about 116 incidents a day. What's worse is that these incidents are easily preventable by using some standard jobsite controls. That is why the MindForge Falling Object course aims to provide workers with the skills and know-how to identify and mitigate any falling object-related hazards on the jobsite. Starting with a brief overview, we then move into a series of animated videos to educate workers on what they can do to mitigate and prevent falling object hazards on the jobsite. Finally, we move into some interactive simulators to help you put into practice the skills and knowledge you've gained from taking the course.
The MindForge Heat Illness Just In Time course aims to educate workers about the dangers of heat-related illnesses on the jobsite. Presenting them with symptoms of the various heat-related conditions, arming them with the knowledge they’ll need to prevent this from happening on their jobsite.
The Mindforge Leading & Unprotected Edges course focuses on helping workers identify leading edges and what steps to take to secure the area so that work can safely continue. Starting with identifying leading edges on a jobsite, the course then covers the different ways you can stay safe, like installing safety nets and guardrails. The course wraps up with a look at fall protection equipment that can be used when performing formwork and how to install warning control lines properly.
The Personal Fall Arrest Systems or PFAS safety course introduces workers on the jobsite to harnesses, lanyards, and anchor points. The course is broken up into four different sections (Harnesses, Lanyards, Anchor Points, Fall Calculations). Each contains a series of interactive lecture style simulations. Starting with an introduction for each section, workers taking this course will learn about different types of harnesses, Lanyards, and anchor points, the various components and connectors, and how to inspect them. This course also provides an introduction into calculating free-fall distances and available clearance and provides a practice lecture so workers can test what they’ve learned.
The MindForge Scaffold Safety course is a full-length immersive lecture simulation that aims to prepare workers utilizing scaffolding on the jobsite, for the many potentially hazardous situations that they may encounter. Starting with a brief introduction/scenario, workers taking this course come face to face with the many common and easily avoidable hazards present on a jobsite, followed by solutions that can be used to keep themselves and others safe.
The Scissor Lift Safety course introduces workers on the jobsite to the main contributors of scissor lift fall and tip over hazards, and what they can do to mitigate hazardous situations on the jobsite. Starting with a brief overview of course expectations, we then explore a number of topics including fall protection, stabilization, positioning, hazardous situations, inspecting scissor lifts, and training requirements for operating a lift.
In 2019 working at heights incidents accounted for nearly 38% of all construction-related fatalities. Even today, working at heights incidents continue to be one of the leading causes of construction injuries and fatalities. That is why the MindForge Working at Heights course aims to educate workers on a series of common working-at-height incidents and what they can do to prevent them on the jobsite. This course consists of a single lesson covering some everyday working at heights hazards. Each floor of a multi-story building will be used to illustrate one hazard.
There’s an opioid crisis happening across the construction industry. One of the tools available to help combat opioid overdoses is a nasal spray called Naloxone (or NARCAN). This video course aims to inform workers about the danger of opioid overdoses, how to identify them, and how to use Naloxone nasal spray to help save someone's life.
The MindForge Tool Tethering course teaches workers about ways they can use tethers to secure tools on the jobsite. This lecture-style simulation focuses on drop and fall hazards presented by unsecured tools while teaching you the various ways tool tethers can mitigate and even eliminate drop and fall hazards related to tools.
The Fire Protection & Prevention (FPP) online safety course will cover basic understanding of fire risks and the key elements for preventing them from occurring in the work environment. Specifically, each section will communicate different fire prevention safety tips, such as steps to control fires, knowing how to read all fire extinguisher labels for proper usage and where to locate fire extinguishers in case of a fire.
At the end of the course, workers will use their knowledge about the P.A.S.S. method to extinguish a fire in an interactive mini-game.
Personal Protective Equipment or PPE is a staple of any construction or general industry project. Utilizing and maintaining the proper PPE can be the difference between a regular workday or severe injury. This Just In Time course from MindForge aims to prepare workers by teaching them the appropriate use and importance of PPE when performing different jobsite tasks.
